the day before the 15th of june
today's the eve of my sista's birthday...
was out wif my papa.. went to check out communic asia exhibition at S'pore Expo..
heh the moment i entered Hall 6, i was overwhelmed! everybody is well dressed!
and in fact, they do have an appropriate dress code attire. darn it. i wasnt told!
as i entered the hall, not only did everyone look at me funny, i felt damn out of place.
the whole exhibition was pretty much BORING. cept for the Sony Ericsson, Motorola, and Samsung booths. the rest were mostly gadgets & gizmos. haha :P
totally not my sorta thing... duh. dat's y i aint in the telco line noe wad i mean..?! hahahahaa
ok so after the exhibition i acced my pipipapipu for a lil lunch den he dropped me off at tanah merah so i dat i cud rush my way down to the sunny island of Sentosa....
thankfully by the time i got dere it aint dat sunny no more.. in fact it was pretty cloudy... haha. but nice la
on route to Siloso beach, i passed by the tourism academy.. i must say dere was a certain sense of pride as i passed the place.
seems like jus yesterday dat i was in yr1 n everything. brought back alot of memories. esp the other time when a few of us had to go to Sentosa to take a couple of pics for some Intl mag to publicise the academy.. oh well.. wish the current juniors pursuing their passion all the best. (:
cuz! we made it! ;)
so found the beach bums finally .. took some pics den helped to look after their stuffssss... while they showered n wad not.
after dat we left the island and went out seperate ways at Habourfront.
Rushed into the mall to look for my sis's bday cake & sadly it started to rain & it was already 6.50pm! n dinner was supposed to be at 7pm.. so i had to rush!
decided to take a cab cos bus10 wud take ages to reach siglap.
in the end i had to wait for the rest for half an hr. haha
oh wellzzz...
so we had a great dinner at Werners Oven... :) great food at greatly expensive prices too. haha :p come on man $17-19 for a damn Sausage wif mash potatoes?! k la but it makes u seriously damn full after dat. i jus ordered myself a classic chicken chop. :)
so after dinner we headed to Fisherman's Village to chill out cos Donovan insists to count down to sis's hatch day so we jus obliged. :)

a 2nd FAILED attempt
ok so i failed my driving for the 2nd time... wonder how many more times this is goin to happen.
sucks.
gee am i bad at driving or am i bad at driving?
wasted so much money already man...
haii... jus hoping for the best i guess.
but i must say i was really glad my cuzy came along with me.
she rocks man. wake up so early jus to acc me.. i'm so touched

unsunny sunday
wad a cloudy sunday man...
was supposed to go tanning wif my sis & greg but we ended up going to Jurong Bird Park. hehehe
damn funny sia.. but it's been a long time since we last visited the place..
so far somemore.. but nonetheless we made a trip dere.
entrance fee was $14 each.. damn i forgot to bring my camera so no pics.. sorry
had lunch at the macs dere den walked in for a birds eye view. no pun intended.. haha.
dey've got new enclosures & species of birdies! so groovy lor.. hee
penguins were so cute too! altho i cant quite identify the fairy penguins... :(
the all star bird show was really cool man!
i so love the cockatoos!!.. haha.. those white parrots... so pretty.. & those colourful ones frm south america too!!
tink they're called macaws! so pretty really.
green, blue, scarlet, orange, midnight blue... so nice lor seriously..
and the owls!!! my gdness the snowy dudes r so freakin huge la! very very big. fluffy & tall. haa
but still quite cute la.. so wanted to cuddle dem! hee!
after a humid day at JBP, we headed to SSC to have a dip in the pool to cool down b4 going back to greg's place for a shower & jus relax.
waited for parents to come pick us after church den went to Old Kallang Airport for dinner!
wow.. prawn mee!!! *slurps* gd stuff man! :P

didnt really go anywhere today..
went to TM for lunch, Grace's house, Bedok Corner for dinner & back to TM agn for coffee & a movie wif my sis, greg, claudia & elson.
we caught mr & mrs smith.
nice action pack movie which was pretty sweet la.
but bottom line is --- dun expect too much out of it.
i cant wait to catch initial d tho!! edison chen, jay chou r staring in it!
and the show is abt cars & racing!

a lil get together
day dedicated to catching up with my buddies frm TP..
Arun, Shahmini, Alex, Jonathan & Woan Ni..
gdnesssssssssss... it's been ages since i last spoke & caught up wif woan ni.
she looks grt now & i guess she's happy wif the way she is now.
but den again.. it's hard to ever see woan ni upset.
her laughter is by far THE most infectious one i've ever heard. the moment she starts laughing dat's it. anything dat's jus not even funny can become hilarious thanks to her. lectures were never quite the same without her after she left TP. lunches & our 'power clique' was jus down to mostly me & arun after she left too.. jon was ard off & on cos he's workin so MIA most of the times.. mich santiago kinda landed herself wif a new clique dat had problem wif arun so yup. isaac.. also left sorta bcos of ivan & jon.. but we had new members too.. alex & sha. :)
so i had driving at 12pm. after dat headed to meet the rest at parkway. went to Giant supermarket to buy snacks, orange juice, beer & Sprite. the juice & sprite were meant as mixers for our vodka. eeewww vanilla vodka wif orange juice sucks so dun bother trying.. to tink i thot it'd taste jus like any normal screwdriver. i was totally wrong man..
after making our purchase, we made our way to east coast beach. weather was pretty hot but we managed to get ourselves a nice table-bench facing the sea, near 7-11.
the guys went to buy ice to chill our drinks. wudnt want to be having warm cocktails now wud we? *yuck*
so moving on.. we sat & chat & gossiped .. our lil way of catching up la i guess.. time passed really quick & as usual... i was the 1st 2 get wasted.
lyd always is the 1st to get high.. wad the heck man... weak i say.. oh well..
so we sat & i read my book all the way til 7, jon left ard 6+ & ivan came by 7+ to have dinner with us.
our intention was to go to Lagoon for dinner.. but unfortunately it was raining so we had to settle for Macs.. heh
after the rain subsided, we parted ways.. dat was ard 8+.
was left to take the damn bus with ivan. whole way i cudnt find anything to talk to him abt. i noe i was tired so din quite bother. mayb i shud hav said i wasnt goin hm den i wudnt b stuck taking the same bus as him.. *rolls eyes*
but anyhow bo bianz.. so we took 31. talked as if we were strangers or new frens sorta thing.. best part is he had to ask me in the midst of our journey, "is dere nthg to talk abt between us?" *PUI*
ok wait. y m i even talking abt him anyway.
but i thot abt it la. i mean it's time i forgive & forget. since i noe dere's no way in hell anything's ever gonna happen between us again or more like dere's no way i'm gonna let anything happen between us again. so jus let it go la huh?
easier said den done but it has to be done. soon.
our bus ride was quite sucky. it's been a long time since i last saw him & had a decent conversation wif him but all he cud come up wif was sacarstic remarks & statements.
i punched him in the chest 3 times for all the stuff he said. *pissed off*
i did tell myself to tahan. but it's called cannot make it.
the way he said it plus his sickening look whilst he's saying those stuff really irritated me.
so finally he alighted at his stop. whereas i continued on to tamp interchange to meet Mas to collect stuff frm her.
when i saw her, i must say i felt much better somehow la..
managed to pour my heart out to her.. had a chat wif her for a while b4 we each headed home for the day..

Sunny Sunday
okie so i had a long sat nite... it's sunday finally...
*yawnzzz*
supposed to wake up for 9.30 holy trin mass wif cuzy but i so cudnt drag myself so went for the 11am mass instead wif sista & greg..
such a hot day man! thankfully greg sent me 2 Grace's place for lunch.
after a wonderfully extremely satisfying lunch experience of Cuttlefish porridge, i helped grace packed some of her stuff... *sobzz*
dat's it man... dis is it! grace is leavin in a mth! does anyone have any idea how quick dat is?! does anyone noe how sad dat's gonna be?!
i'm sure dere r pple who does la.. haa. ;)
so after packing, grace went abt her stuff while i was online for a bit. jus updating myself & chking email...
den we headed to coffee bean at century sq for a bit. was introduced to her ex colleague frm Raffles. sat & chit chatted for a lil while b4 i was off to meet Fie.. heh dat fella... went wif him to Beach Rd to make his purchases! gdness i melted big time man... so many pple dere, so stuffy & so hot!!! :(
but it's ok la.. =) haa
so after beach rd shopping, we took a bus to city hall, raffles city, to have err... tea time snack? at BK dat is :) hungry & hot we were so had to cool down & have a bite u c...
after indulging,we finally got our butts moving & took a train back to the east cos it was almost book in time for him. tink he spent abt exactly ONLY 24 hrs out in CV life. poor chap man.
he made a gd joke tho.
can u imagine them at the guard hse bookin in den say u bum into a fren:
"hey i tink i saw u yesterday man"
& ur fren replies "oh is it? where?"
den u answer "here la!"
haa! cheesy & lame but it's true. sad case.
so yup.. dat's the life of an army boy i guess... smthg us girls wud nvr understand...

met up wif beefy, qin & cuzy to jus relax & have coffee at Bugis.
qin brought us 2 a cafe jus opposite Bugis Junction. nice atmosphere but really ex F&B outlet. tink Billy Bombers milkshake is much better. well, dere's always a 1st time! :) thanks qin.
after dinner at Yoshinoya, walked ard for a bit b4 qin left wif her senior whereas beefy n i jus continued. shortly after beefy & i parted, headed to east coast to have coffee with claudia, elson, sista & greg.
gosh... need to figure wad to get my sis for her bday prezzie man... *sigh* headache... any suggestions, tag me pls! thanks!

we cud take a lil trip ard S'pore Town!
an outing wif grace today wif main highlights of:
1. listening to 1 of Grace's advisors abt her lodging in Brisbane,
2. taking a tour ard Aunty Irene's office & taking pictures,
3. a HUGE bowl of 'Yu Pian Mi Fen' (lunch wif Grace & aunty Irene at China Square Food court),
4. bumped into my sista at Far East Square while she was lunching,
5. walked to China Town frm Raffles Place, bought stuff along the way =X & took pictures,
6. after China Town, took a bus to Taka & walked ard whilst waiting for Mr Kan to confirm book out time,
7. after town, we took an MRT back to Expo, read on the train & jus waited & waited & waited & waited & waited & waited for Mr Javvie Boy...
8. Finally went into the hall to chk out the PC Show, went to scout ard for memory card prices & Sony Memory Stick prices, cuckoo prices by Sony sia.
word of advice, DO NOT BUY SONY DIGI CAMS!
their prices r so damn high. it's absurb man.
9. after Javern makes his purchase of his Acer Lappy, we proceeded for dinner at the food court outside,
10. finally after dinner, & saying our goodbyes, we headed home. =) *peace*

Family Ties
Bonds... Ties...
smthg i've been tinking abt today ... & still tinkin actually..
been out since 11am wif my mum, maternal grandma, my 2 lil boys (cousins), Grace cuzy & Qin.
lunched together, walked ard & enjoyed my Daytona game!! altho i only played once... heh.
oh wellz.. another time la makes it all the more fun! haha.
so i watched Madagascar again.. haha. it's a gd show i cant help it! love the penguins to bits! haha. =)
cute & cuddly boys! *winks*
after the show we went down to Delifrance to have coffee den headed to Bossini to get the lil boys Madagascar T-shirts. those boys were so delighted wif their new buys. on the other hand. they took so freakin long!!! gdness! when i thot girls were bad at shopping, seems dat some guys can match up man. my cousin, imagine, at the age of 11 is so picky!!! bleah.
so after their shopping, grandma brought dem home. and i continued the window shopping wif cuzy & qin. mum gave up. too much for her to handle in a day. of cos la. 2 rascals man! heh. my back is alr aching now. haha.
qin did a gd job at helping tho. seems she looks grt wif kids! haa! ;) preparing early eh qin? *evil chuckles*
after all the window shopping grace headed to town whereas qin & i headed hm! *yawnz* haha.
wonder wad's in store for me tmr! heh tmr's another adventure for lyd & grace as we'll be heading to the PC show! ;)
back to the main topic abt family bonds & ties. not sure y so many thots flooded my head 2day but i got reminded abt my late grandpas. hmm.. guess i shall do a lil tribute 2 dem.
miss dem quite a lot rite now.. lots of memories of younger days & everything. i hav always treasured family ties. but sometimes things change. for the better or worst, dat i'm not sure.
no one's perfect i noe but sometimes, somethings r worth tinkin abt now & den & reflecting on dem. dun repeat mistakes. be it own or others. now, i must make time to go visit both my grandpas. havent seen dem for a while now.

been out since 11am wif my mum, maternal grandma, my 2 lil boys (cousins), Grace cuzy & Qin.
lunched together, walked ard & enjoyed my Daytona game!! altho i only played once... heh.
oh wellz.. another time la makes it all the more fun! haha.
so i watched Madagascar again.. haha. it's a gd show i cant help it! love the penguins to bits! haha. =)

after the show we went down to Delifrance to have coffee den headed to Bossini to get the lil boys Madagascar T-shirts. those boys were so delighted wif their new buys. on the other hand. they took so freakin long!!! gdness! when i thot girls were bad at shopping, seems dat some guys can match up man. my cousin, imagine, at the age of 11 is so picky!!! bleah.
so after their shopping, grandma brought dem home. and i continued the window shopping wif cuzy & qin. mum gave up. too much for her to handle in a day. of cos la. 2 rascals man! heh. my back is alr aching now. haha.
qin did a gd job at helping tho. seems she looks grt wif kids! haa! ;) preparing early eh qin? *evil chuckles*
after all the window shopping grace headed to town whereas qin & i headed hm! *yawnz* haha.
wonder wad's in store for me tmr! heh tmr's another adventure for lyd & grace as we'll be heading to the PC show! ;)
back to the main topic abt family bonds & ties. not sure y so many thots flooded my head 2day but i got reminded abt my late grandpas. hmm.. guess i shall do a lil tribute 2 dem.
miss dem quite a lot rite now.. lots of memories of younger days & everything. i hav always treasured family ties. but sometimes things change. for the better or worst, dat i'm not sure.
no one's perfect i noe but sometimes, somethings r worth tinkin abt now & den & reflecting on dem. dun repeat mistakes. be it own or others. now, i must make time to go visit both my grandpas. havent seen dem for a while now.
